Hi all, it's been a while since I've updated here, and that's because I've been working on world-building for an entirely new universe.
Coming sometime this year, I'm launching the Biogenesis War™series, published through Wooden Pen Press.

What's she working on now?
Well, to be honest, good world-building, based on solid science (and math! Yes, MATH!) takes time.
You also have to consider the governments involved, the cultures, the geographic locations, the religious beliefs, the economic tensions....
All the things.
It usually takes me three months to write a book, from concept to publication.
However, that's with an established universe handed to me, all nicely packaged up and ready to go.
The Biogenesis Universe is another matter entirely.
I can tell you it was a ton of fun to have completed, but there were weeks of hair-pulling frustration as I wrestled with all of these factors, in order to deliver a fully-realized and rich setting for this new series of books.
I'm happy to report this is all done, and book 1 is complete.
It still has a ways to go, because typing "The End" is really only half the process.
Then it must go on to beta readers, developmental editors, copy editors, ARC readers, and so on.
In addition, we have to get a more professional book cover done than the one I've been staring at for the past few months!

As you can see, it's lengthy, at almost 100k words, or 341 pages. By the time it's edited, it'll likely top that.

Sol Dissolution Book 2: Assault on Sedna
Katelyn and Williams are back, once again on opposite sides of the brewing tension between the Sol Federation and the Scattered Worlds.
A new evil lurks, and the two must work together to thwart it.
Assault on Sedna will be free in KU, and will release on April 2, 2020.
